How are the plans designed? Pani Zed’s View plan is the first step for treatment plants to adopt data driven operations. This allows their operations team to measure what matters most by aggregating existing data sources, storing institutional knowledge,and automating workflows. Facilities starting their digital journey with limited historical data or instrumentation, should consider starting with Pani Zed’s View plan. The Guide and Consult plans incorporate additional intelligence through process models and statistical machine learning approaches. This enables faster and improved decision making with fault detections, process health insights, forecasting, process set-point optimums, or a combination of them all. Facilities who want to take their SCADA data & insight from their instrumentation to the next level should consider the Guide and Consult plans.
What kind of historical information does Pani Zed process? Depending on the plan, Pani Zed processes historical operating sensor data (through CSV exports from historian or PLC systems), historical lab data, key service and event logs, and the plant’s process and instrumentation information (through flow sheets and P&I diagrams).
What is the full list of sensor data that Pani Zed collects? For the View and Focus plans, Pani Zed collects as much data as the customer desires to integrate a data driven operation. This includes both instrument data and manual data collection, such as lab tests and field service logs. For the Guide and Consult plans, depending on the type of process equipment and customer pain points, Pani’s onboarding team suggests what instruments need to be captured online through PLC or manual inputs. How long does it take to set up? This largely depends on how quickly a treatment plant's team can gather the required data points needed for their subscription plan. Typically, View and Focus plans can have setups completed within a day to a few weeks. The Guide and Consult plans usually take a minimum of 2-3 weeks, and will take longer if your plant has a unique process that requires additional time for Pani’s onboarding team to integrate models and calibrate them accordingly.
How soon does Pani Zed start offering results? Operations teams who fully integrate Pani Zed into their day-to-day operations are the ones that get the highest value and quickest results. Exactly how quickly results show depends on the plant. In some cases, customers start seeing a change in workflow and operations within the first couple weeks. For others, it may take a couple months.
Is there a performance guarantee? Our standard offering does not provide plant performance improvement guarantees. At this point, our product is limited to a decision support platform that provides analytics based on data being ingested. The benefits realized are a function of operators and engineers interpreting and, in turn, driving action on the analytics.
Can I cancel my plan if I need to? Yes. Our standard plans have annual cancellation terms. In our standard plans, you can cancel at the anniversary of your initial term subscription, or at your annual renewal for any reason (unless otherwise stated in the agreement).
